"In Germany, winter sport is in our DNA"

Es ist 400 Seiten dick, es wurde in drei Bänden überreicht: München hat am Dienstag das Bid Book dem IOC übergeben. Seit gestern ist es nun auch öffentlich zugänglich. Auf muenchen2018.org kann man es downloaden.

Es ist in Englisch und Französisch verfasst - das IOC will das so. Auf der Seite muenchen2018.org ist auch eine Zusammenfassung auf Deutsch erhältlich. Nach Grußworten von Angela Merkel, Christian Ude oder Horst Seehofer werden Themenkomplexe wie politisches Klima, Umwelt, Finanzen, Marketing behandelt.

Es stehen darin so schöne Sätze wie: "In Germany, winter sport is in our DNA." Oder: "The permanent new housing developed for the Olympic Village and the Media Village in Munich Olympic Park, which will be constructed to the highest standards of sustainability, will make substantial contributions to Munich’s community where the demand for housing far exceeds the supply." Oder: "The greatest challenge will be maintaining a high-level of national public support for the Games in the seven year organisational cycle." Und noch einer: "The City of Munich and the Munich Sports Office will integrate the educational programme into a number of existing weekly and annual sport programmes to deliver a new focus on Olympism. Munich currently offers annual programmes like: 'Sports for Everyone'."
